I used to make miniature gardens when I was little, and this Summer I made one with my daughter. Here's the result - rather warmer looking than the weather we're having at the moment!

Latest Okido's Moon issue was so inspiring that we decided to make our own "lunar base". You'll find some photos attached. It's all made out of recycled stuff : mini ice-creams box, milk bottles tops, toothpicks, homemade cotton suit and pingpong ball helmet... And guess what, it's a girl ! First woman on the moon ! We made the costume ourselves. First I had to explain to Sam that he COULD NOT cut up any of our own clothing to do this, and instead we scoured the local charity shops.  We found a big brown fleece and a furry gilet thing, and under Sam's very specific directions the costume was put together.  And when he puts on the costume, Sam IS a squirrel.  It is so funny.
